1. Right from school days, involved in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s movement. His house was a secret meeting place of 2nd line of Dr. Ambedkar and he was in their service since his childhood. Took Deeksha at his hands on 14th October 1956 at Deeksha Bhoomi, Nagpur. Dhamma Costume of Dr. Babasaheb and Maisaheb Ambedkar at the time of Deskha Ceremony was arranged from his house. Met personally Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar twice and got his blessings.
2. Very good sportsman in Hockey, Cricket, Football, Carom and represented in National tournaments. Scored 1st century and Carom champion in Bank of India Nagpur Zone.
3. *SOCIAL, ECONOMIC AND RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES*
Father of SC/ST/OBC Bank Employee’s Movement in India. Joined Bank of India on 25-5-1965 and started fighting for the rights of SC/ST/OBC bank employees with one man army from 1973. Established SC/ST/OBC Association from Bank of India and in other banks also. Fought many battles from Nagpur, Delhi and throughout India for their rights with mild to wild agitations.
i) Still continuing as founder National President of All India Bank of India SC/ST/OBC Employee’s Association, Central Unit.
ii) Founder President of All India SC/ST Bank Employees’ Federation H.Q. Calcutta and remained National President for 18 years.
4. A very good photographer with innovative ideas and also visualiser and thinker. Used photography and sound system skills in the build up process of Socio, Political and Religious activities of the depressed classes. Sold all equipments including photo studio on West High Court Road, Dharampeth, Nagpur for the sake of Ambedkarite Movement. Today its cost is in some crores.
5. A great supporter of cultural movement of the have nots and having good knowledge of printing technology. Contributed to press and media of Bahujan Samaj.
6. Worked with Shri Kanshiramji from 1978 to 1987 as second in command in BAMCEF, D-S4 and BSP and was instrumental in scoring highest votes in India for D-S4 in 1984 M.P. elections in Cooch Bihar constituency in naxalite area near Naxalbari Village in North Bengal where from Naxal movement started. Awakened West Bengal SC/ST/OBC members without any outside help and in the North-East States viz. Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, Sikkim etc. with Ambedkarite Philosophy when U.P. was sleeping in Shri Kanshiramji’s movement. Worked with Shri Kanshiramji for 9 years out of which about 6 years was on leave without pay from bank’s service without caring for his family and life. One of the key person in running Bahujan news papers from Nagpur and Delhi.
7. A lover of music and expert in sound recording. Operated sound system of great artists viz. Mangeshkar family, Bismilla Khan, Pandit Ravi Shankar, Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, Amjad Ali Khan, Dager Brothers and several other top artists of India. Once, was offered to control the Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi’s public address programme in M.P.
8. Since 1995 associated with Deeksha Bhoomi Nagpur and introduced Buddhist conversion procedure as a daily routine, which was unique in India and in the world. Since then about 5 lac people converted to Buddhism at Deeksha Bhoomi with introduction of issuing instant Buddhist conversion certificate. In 2006, he was nominated by Deeksha Bhoomi Smarak Samiti, Nagpur as a Chief Convenor of Damma Deeksha Suvarna Mahotsav. In his regime, the ceremony was so nicely conducted that people still remember the glory of this great event. Thereafter, he was nominated as caretaker of Deeksha Bhoomi. During his tenure, he had arranged several religious functions and created religious atmosphere more effectively at Deeksha Bhoomi. Became Shramner (Pre Monk State) in 2006 and was away from family with bald head and in yellow robes. The photogallery installed in the main stupa. He had received many honours and medals for his socio-economic and religious services for the society.
9. Visited revolutionary Birsa Munda’s village, Ulihatu in the dense forests of Jharkhand surrounded by Naxalite movement in 1998 and again on 12.3.2000 and introduced Birsa’s philosophy in Maharashtra which is gaining momentum day by day. Presently about 300 organisations is the name of Birsa Munda are operating in Maharashtra.
10. Arranged industrial exhibition *”INDEX-2008″* at Nagpur on a big scale better than the professional players which was very much appreciated by media and SC/ST/OBC’s including general class people.
*This was the first Industrial Exhibition of the backward communities in India arranged by Bank of India SC/ST/OBC Employees’ Association, Nagpur.* For this achievement, top executives of Bank of India congratulated him with big clapping at Head Office, Mumbai.
11. Introduced many new ideas including electronic media in Ambedkarite movement for the first time in India which helped growth of Dr. Ambedkar movement in a very short time.
12. He was invited to the World Buddhist Conference at China and Taiwan in 2008. Apart from his lecture before the Buddhist intellectuals of the world his special interview for half an hour was telecasted from a separate studio throughout the world. On return, he visited Thailand and established religious contacts with that country.
13. Dragon Palace, Kamptee which is another big Buddhist Center in India near Nagpur, conferred on him *”Man of the year in religious activities”* in 2009 in a religious function with drum beats.
14. He was offered member of Parliament ticket on two occasions by one of the first two National Parties of India with 100% success. But he declined it because of ideological differences.
15. Formed *”BUDDHIST ECONOMY ASSOCIATION”* for economic development of the community. He was honoured President-ship in this organization. Planning to introduce city wise business directory of SC/ST/OBC entrepreneurs starting from Nagpur to create our own economy. Bahujan businessmen whether small or big are requested to give their Business details for this directory so that our money will be rotated among SC/ST/OBC.
16. Dedicated his life to strengthen revolutionary movement of Mahatma Jyotirao Fule, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and Birsa Munda for the welfare of common masses.
